Don’t Miss the Friendship Firehouse Festival on Aug. 4
July 27, 2018
Vintage fire trucks and live music are a given at the Friendship Firehouse Festival, an annual event hosted by the Friendship Firehouse Museum. The museum dates back to 1855, the year that local history buffs decided to preserve the story of their city's hardworking firefighters. The artifacts inside the museum pay homage to the firefighting company that once called the building home, and it serves as the backdrop for this beloved local festival each August.
So come to the Friendship Firehouse Museum on Saturday, August 4th to be part of the festival. Have some fun exploring the retro fire trucks at the museum and listening to live music. If you have some summer birthdays coming up, find handmade gifts from local craftspeople who set up their booths at the festival. Enjoy lots of food and drink and don't forget to explore the museum's exhibits, as well.
