Now Open Near Abbotts Run: Tanger Kabob House Cafe

September 7, 2018

Grape leaves stuffed with rice, mint, lemon, and dill. Zaalouk salad tossed with eggplant, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and spices. Plump shrimp seared in Moroccan chermoula sauce. These are just a handful of the authentic Middle Eastern appetizers on the menu at Tanger Kabob House Cafe, a new eatery that opened in April.

True to its name, the restaurant specializes in kabobs. The skewers come embellished with your choice of meat: marinated and grilled lamb, beef, or chicken. Another option is the kofta, a signature blend of ground beef, herbs, and spices. Rice and grilled veggies accompany each kabob to make it a filling meal. In addition to the kabobs, Tanger Kabob House Cafe also offers a few specialty burgers and a couple of subs, as well as sweet treats like baklava.
