Learn More About the Launch of NMHC’s Multifamily Housing-Geared Research Non-Profit
October 17, 2016
The National Multifamily Housing Council is the primary resource for all things multifamily housing-related, and in August of this year it added another feather to its cap in the form of a new non-profit foundation created for the sole purpose of conducting research focused on the apartment industry. The non-profit's launch was a huge success, raking in $2.25 million from NMHC members alone.
This money will go directly into the research field, helping to bridge the gap between what industry leaders already know and what they want to know. For instance, when multifamily housing leaders have questions about housing affordability, research from this non-profit should be able to help guide them to answers. That's probably why the cash commitments are flooding in from various members.
Stay tuned for upcoming developments as NMHC's new non-profit gets off the ground and starts conducting research that might just affect the future of multifamily housing. Chances are the efforts of this organization will help to shape the multifamily housing industry in the years to come, so it's important for all industry leaders to take note.
