Support Your Community at A Night to Benefit Shelters to Shutters at the SW Arts Club
February 21, 2017
One organization connected to the multifamily industry that is truly creating positive changes in our community is Shelters to Shutters, a nonprofit in Washington DC. Through the organization, more than 80 homeless residents of the community have found full-time employment and discounted housing. That's all thanks to dedicated staff who help to train and place those in need in full-time positions throughout the multifamily industry.
In order to keep the good work going, the organization will hold A Night to Benefit Shelters to Shutters at the SW Arts Club on Monday, February 27th. From 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., attendees will enjoy a dinner in the stunning, colorful space that is the SW Arts Club. The cuisine will be prepared by Chef Kwame Onwuachi. If you recognize the name, it's because he was recently a contender on Bravo's Top Chef. The celebrity chef will toil away in the kitchen, crafting a decadent meal for everyone who attends.
Tickets start at $500 for an individual, and the majority of the proceeds go directly to Shelters for Shutters. So anyone who snags a ticket to the evening will not only be able to enjoy the feast dreamt up by a celebrity chef but will also be contributing to the cause of doing good in the community.
