How to Decorate Your Apartment for Fall (While Sticking to Your Budget)
August 20, 2021
With fall on the horizon, you’re probably itching to update your apartment with some fresh decorations. Here are a few ideas that won’t break the bank.
- Just add mini pumpkins. Mini pumpkins add a cute punch of festive flair and color with very little effort. Grab a few and create a vignette on the coffee table, leaving them just as they are, or paint one white to make the collection really pop.
- DIY a few fall candles. Autumn is the perfect time to cozy up next to a flickering candle! Create a seasonally inspired candle holder by decoupaging a few fall leaves to a mason jar and tying some twine around the top, or simply use twine and hot glue to affix cinnamon sticks to the exterior of a chunky white candle.
- Find new cases for your throw pillows. Whether you head to the thrift store or shop online, a few fresh throw pillowcases could totally transform your space. Look for distinctly autumn hues and textures, like a rich burgundy velvet.
- Bring the outside in. When it comes to finding affordable fall decor, taking a hike might be a good first step! Head outside to find a few fallen branches with pretty autumn leaves still attached and arrange them in a clear glass vase for a simple piece of seasonal decor.
