Taqueria Habanero debuted a second location in College Park last December with the same type of contemporary Mexican dishes that made the DC location so popular. The main difference? This new offshoot boasts even more variety than the original, showcasing a menu of gourmet tapas, tacos, and entrees.

Adventurous eaters should dig right into specialty tacos stuffed with octopus, tender cactus, or beef tongue. Anyone interested in more familiar fare can try the carnitas, grilled chicken, or al pastor tacos instead. Want to savor the eatery’s signature mole sauce? The papas con mole features a bed of house-cut fries smothered with mole Poblano, queso fresco, and sour cream.
