Ice Cream Making Workshop: Make Your Own Summer Treat From Scratch
May 23, 2017
There's nothing wrong with indulging in something frosty and sweet when the weather warms up, but your ice cream cone will taste all the sweeter if you craft it yourself. At the Ice Cream Making Workshop in Upland, you'll learn how to make your own cone, ice cream, and everything else you need for a decadent sundae.
Come to the class at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 3rd, and the instructor will supply everything you need to design your own dessert, including your own ice cream maker. The class begins with attendees creating a customized, infused custard ice cream, then shaping a waffle cone from scratch. Next, whip up a batch of marshmallow topping, some hot fudge sauce, and even pecan brittle. For the final flourish, add a dollop of whipped cream to our creation. Each pupil takes home a gallon and a half of ice cream, plus the toppings they crafted. The class lasts 2.5 hours, and tickets are $60 each.
