Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Trader Vic’s
February 8, 2019
A special menu of globally inspired fusion fare and a full bar stocked with rums from all around the world. What could be more romantic? This scene is what awaits you on Valentine’s Day at Trader Vic’s, an island-themed bar and restaurant complete with tiki torches and island cuisine.
The three-course Valentine’s Day menu is a la carte, so you can pick and choose your dishes (and how much you want to spend). To get started, savor the crustacean toast, golden-brown sourdough capped with poached lobster, pickled fennel, and lobster aioli, or try the filet mignon carpaccio with a miso emulsion. The main course offers two options: classic beef Wellington, smoked in the kitchen’s Chinese oven, or “I Only Have Seafood for You,” a mix of fresh seafood in a bouillabaisse, all served over potatoes confit. Save room for a “gift box” of pastries or an assortment of strawberries for dessert. You also have the option to enjoy champagne or the special Mai Tai Love cocktail with your meal.
