Brothers Andrew and Ari Cohen love dessert, but they couldn’t always find treats that suited their needs. The task proved somewhat challenging because they avoided all dairy, gluten, and soy—products that were often found in commercially made ice creams. That’s why they decided to open Mr. Dewie’s, a shop dedicated to ice cream crafted from cashew milk.

The ice cream isn’t just free of dairy, gluten, and soy. Ice cream makers also avoid all fillers, additives, preservatives, gums, and oils, opting instead for organic, all-natural ingredients. So you can always feel good about indulging in the creative cashew-milk ice creams on the menu, like the chocolate orange chip or the caramel almond crunch. In addition to the scoops, the staff also crafts sandwiches using gluten-free cookies and the ice cream of your choice.
