Downtown Pleasant Hill’s Light up the Night Celebration Returns Nov. 28

November 23, 2018

Go for a horse-drawn carriage ride, grab some free hot chocolate and cookies, and watch the holiday tree lighting at Light up the Night in Downtown Pleasant Hill. The annual festival has become a holiday tradition for many locals, and you’re welcome to make it one of your own this year. Just head downtown around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28th.

That’s when the free horse-drawn carriage rides around City Hall begin. It’s also when volunteers begin to dole out thousands of cookies, cups of hot chocolate, and mugs of coffee—all for free. Grab a snack or a sip and browse the Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair set up along Crescent Drive or check out the live dance and music performances. At 6:45 p.m., make sure you’re back at the plaza in front of Jack’s Restaurant to watch the holiday tree lighting.
