Slurp Ramen, Shoot Pool at Fat Baguette Lounge
December 28, 2018
Whether you’re looking a bowl of ramen or a game of pool, you’ll find it at Fat Baguette Lounge. Part pool hall, part eatery, the new hotspot opened in September in Pleasant Hill. In the dining room, the menu focuses largely on authentic ramen noodle soup and specialty sandwiches. In the billiards area, patrons gather for some friendly competition after their meal.
If you’re just in it for the ramen, grab a table in the dining room and order some of the classic Japanese soup with the tonkotsu, shoyu, or miso base. The house special tonkotsu ramen features chashu beef with bamboo, broccoli, seaweed, sesame seeds, green onions, a hard-boiled egg, and a drizzle of garlic oil. If you’re craving a sandwich, tear into a baguette stuffed with barbecue beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce, purple cabbage, and barbecue sauce.
